Well, a shaving day of mixed fortunes. I have a barbers hone, but I thought it would be fun to try to refresh my Ern Ator on 3m lapping film...the result was that the razor failed to remove any hair whatsoever from my face. Totally dull. The Le Grelot was next...and the factory edge fell short. The trusty Reynolds stepped unto the breach, and removed all the hair with silent ease. A beautiful shave ultimately and a horrific attempt at "honing".

Ha, yes it did. That one is a beautiful, beautiful edge. The type of shave where there is no resistance whatsoever. Have to say, I wanted to make a start into the world of maintenance.....and I have no idea what I did wrong. Will save up for a 12k I think.

Thanks Phrank. Maybe you'll get to see it in person soon, if we ever nail down a date for the TO meet. I surely would like to see all the razors Val has done for you!
