Sunday
Prep: Proraso, crema pre barba
Razor: SK式1 R.Saito
Brush: Semogue Mistura
Shave soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Aftershave: Alum Block & Tabac After Shave
Moisturiser: Kiehl's "The ultimate men's after-shave balm"
Cologne: Black Orchid
Drink: Absinthe
I shaved with the SK式1today and it was a very different experience to the SK3. I carried on where I had left off with the SK3, thinking that the razor would be smooth and forgiving. The SK1 was even smoother but not at all forgiving giving me a little nip from the offset. The blade is a lot shorter and feels smoother but much, much keener, I felt that I had to be on it continuously which was fine and the end result was very pleasing. It just seems that the SK式1 was better quality and a more professional product than the SK3, if that makes any sense.Never wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty and the pig likes it.

Thanked: 1185Sunday Shave and Haircut
Gem Lather Catcher (Dome) Wm. Elliot (face), VDH Badger, Tabac, Lucky Tiger Bay Rum, Firehouse Wacky Tacky
A lazy Sunday. It took me until late evening to muster enough gumption to shower and shave. I think I may have burned the candle at both ends for a bit too long. Probably a good day to have a few beers, watch a baseball game and take a nap. Tomorrow I'll get back to hardcore. Until then I'm just too tired to bust a grape. The older I get, the better I was

Hot Towel Prep
Bath House .. Spanish Fig & Nutmeg Shave Soap
Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger in Butterscotch
Robeson Shur-Edge 5/8
Neil Miller .. 40/60
Witch Hazel
Ogallala Bay Rum .. Limes & Peppercorns for a nice finish
Nearing the end of the hot towel treatment pre-shave .. I'll enjoy it while I can.
This Shur-Edge is a nice blade, but again, the scales leave me flat. Could be destined for a trip to my friend Max!
The Ogallala iteration is probably my favorite bay rum .. Somewhat understated, but pleasant ..
Today's music from one of the best female voices ever .. Quite powerful!

Razor – Another King Midas
Brush – Semouge boar
Soap – GM Balsam
AS – ALUM, & Myrsol Agua Balsamica
I am on a King Midas kick. I just like these razors. Collect the whole set. Getting low on the Mrysol. I will order more as the light scent and toning effect is appealing. Happy Shaving!

The weather was great today and I was able enjoy the outdoors this afternoon. My new house has some nice flower beds thanks to a previous owner. The garden will make a regular appearance in my SOTD pics. The first irises of the year bloomed today.
