This is my first Wade and Butcher, a 5/8 near wedge, post 1900.

When I received it, I was so new to this hobby that I didn't realize until much later that this razor was basically unused. When Valery honed it, he was shocked that it had most likely never been honed before, and the blade was in virtually "new" condition. Now almost a year later, I realize what a treat it was to find something like that, wouldn't it be nice if all the vintage blades we got showed up in virtually new condition.

A very good Shave with a nice, big Blade :-)
Its only marked Garantie Solingen but it looks much like a No.14 and after the Shave im Sure that it is an unmarked No.14,
but however, its a very good Blade.
Using a 40 Year old Bottle of Mennen Wild Moss AS was a Sucess too, a wondeful and intense Scent that reminds me of
Huggy Bear and a fat purple-coloured Lincoln Mk.III with Air Ride

    Pre: Hot Shower
Soap: D.R. Harris Arlington Shaving Soap
    Brush: Semogue 830
    Strop: Leder-Tradition.de XXL-Juchten
Razor: Garantie Solingen 15/16", medium thin grounded, possibly a No.14 Blade
Directions: With / Tangential & Particulary against the Grain
After: Vintage Mennen Wild Moss AS
