The B&M was a gift from Valery at the Gentleman's Den, absolutely superb soap, fantastic, thick, creamy lather and a wonderful fragrance. It was a fine shaving soap to use for my first try with this newly restored Wade and Butcher.

Ah, love it Phrank. I'd say 85% of my shaves are with Barrister and Mann soaps these days. Hopefully you'll share the addiction.

Yes, was just emailing Valery, he was asking me about it, superb soap. Not quite an MDC, but easily on par with DR Harris, Penhaligon's, MWF or Tabac....and the fragrance of this was very unique and really pleasant. I will be using this soap for my next two shaves in order to properly evaluate the other two W&B's I just picked up from Valery!

But B&M will be on the next SAD list...this fragrance though really stood out as unique, a definite keeper!

I'll say something really controversial here. I have both MDC soaps (fougere and standard) and I use B&M soaps 85% of the time. 'Nough said. BTW, check out their Roam.
    Phrank and bobtail like this.
