07-20-2014, 03:08 PM #4May the week bring you all a pleasant surprise!THANK YOU ALL FOR THE EYE CANDY DURING THE LAST WEEK!
Superior ~1900 in bone, Staffordshire mug, GM spice, horsehair brush, Florida Water.
The Day? Partly Cloudy and mild ~75ºF / 24C. The Shave? Finally getting an edge after honing out a warp., but it will go back to the hones though for smoothing. The Florida Water, from a local Mexican Grocery, I found, has been a USA product since 1808!! Similar to a Vetiver and pleasant without being heavy.

Thanked: 1185Gentlemen,
This razor is truly the founder of the feast. In 2007 after over two years of not shaving, I decided I'd like to shave but not with high dollar, Chinese plastic. I purchased this Gem Micromatic Open Comb for the princely sum of $4 and it was the first step in my razor/traditional shaving odyssey. I'm rather ashamed to admit that it hasn't seen the outside of the shave cave drawer for quite some time. As expected though, it delivered a wonderful shave and haircut with a fresh blade.
