Mastro Livi Carbon Steel K720, 7/8 Full Hollow, Square Point

This is the ninth Mastro Livi in my collection. It is an amazing razor: smooth, velvety, giving an impeccable shave. This is the first plain carbon steel razor made by Mastro Livi in my collection and I must say it is a magnificent razor, just like all the other ones I own, of course. Memorable! Now I wish to have more!

Sorry for posting this so late, but there was yet another sudden death in the family. I hope this is over for some time ...

    Sunday, 7.20.14

    Hot Water Prep
    Tabac Shave Soap
    Morris&Forndran Blonde Badger 1/2
    Ralf Aust 7/8 Spanish Point
    Witch Hazel
    Penhaligon's Endymion EdT

A trying day at the funeral home, and a trying trip to pick up relatives. The funeral was Monday ... I just haven't had time to breathe.

    Tuesday, 7.22.14

    Tepid Water Splash
    Proraso Sapone da Barba
    Simpsons Duke3 in Best
    Ralf Aust 7/8 Spanish Point
    Witch Hazel
    Proraso Dopobarba AfterShave Splash

Things are quieting down a bit, and I needed a relaxed, cooling shave. The Aust was chosen again because it was ready to go from Sunday's shave and because it does an exemplary job of clearing whiskers. I was just too drained to do this shave any other way!

Amazing postings by everyone this week ... I'm simply awestruck. I'm finding I have more and more difficulty in my feeble attempts to keep up with you gents!
