I order a lot of boar brushes from a vendor just for the knots and he included this knot which had a broken handle and said to see what I could do with it. Well, this is how it ended up. Truth is, I really like the feel of the hair. Nice shave this morning. I know nothing about the razor either however it's always been an excellent shaver. When I bought this one it had a pawn slip in the coffin from the 80's for around $14-15 dollars. I paid $20.

Size: 24.3 KBPre: AOS unscented pre-shave oil. I don't care for the oils but had a sample.
    Lather: Proraso Sandalwood uberlather.
Razor: George Wostenholm & Sons Celebrated I*XL
Post: St. Charles Shaving Sandalwood Splash
Fragrance: St. Charles Shaving Sandalwood EDT

Decided to take the leap and hone this big fella(biggest in my collection ) myself. While the first shave was not so good this one was a winner. I really had to take my time and focus on technique as this razor is very different from any other I own. The results were quite good.

BobH I love that Buddha bottle!
