The B&M Lavanille is outstanding, the fragrance is beautifully lingering, one of the nicest I've ever tried.
The George Brittain, "Iron Cross", straight razor is an amazing blade. When I met with Valery, he mentioned that there was just something about the razor that really made it stand out, was hard for him to put his finger on. I will admit I thought that this razor was more along the lines of a "collectible", rather than a potentially stellar performing blade. Having just shaved with it, it may just be the name, or the mystery, but this razor was a joy to use, the steel was so soft against the skin, yet it provided a wonderfully close and comfortable shave. The grind would be a 1/4 hollow, and the closest blade I could compare it to would be the Wade and Butcher, Magnum Bonum.
Anyhow, was a great shave of the day!
