Everite (Straight) Safety Razor (on loan from Sharptonn) ~ Omega mini badger ~ Proraso red ~ Aramis
I was a little cautious of this new experience, I didn't strop the blade since Tom said he already did it. He assured me I would not get cut and he was right. Great fun I will give it another go, this time I'll strop the hell out of it. I thought it could stand some more leather.
Thanks Tom for the try-out

No worries, my friend! It is plenty sharp. Overcoming the fear of the little fella, proper pressure and angle learned, the little Solingen hollow will shave wonderfully! A matter of watching the angle as in a straight, relearned, I suppose! Too much angle, it does not cut close as the guard keeps the edge away. Spine close, light pressure next time! Took me a few shaves!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
