Thanked: 1185A great (and very leisurely) Saturday afternoon shave. I rarely do three pass shaves but did one today (North-South, South-North, then again North-South doing sort of a short, blade buffing kind of stroke). There was certainly plenty to cut after skipping yesterday's shave (I'm trying to skip Monday, Wednesday and Friday these days.) A BBS shave today for sure.

I agree, the shorter buffing strokes seem to really take the shave to the next level. When I started using the shorter strokes with the blade, combined with persistent stretching of the skin in each area, you really end up with a very nice, close shave without any annoying patches appearing in random places....nice razor as well!

Thanked: 116Saturday evening shave to test a razor fresh off the coticule.
Best badger brush
Palmolive cream
"L. Duval A Reims" hollow ground razor
4711 Wunderwasser aftershave
I was a bit careless, so I ended up with a few cuts... the razor was a pleasure to shave with. I've got 3 more freshly honed razors to try next week: one W&B quasi-wedge, two Ford&Medley quasi-wedges
