Happy “Over the Hump Day” May your week go smoothly and come to a perfect close.

Gillette Twinjector, Generic blades, VdH, Turkish horsehair brush, Captains Choice “Bay Rum.”
The Day? Bright and almost to 43F / 6C. The Shave, While not the Twinjector blades, the razor still performed well with the proper angle. Close and clean in very few strokes.

The Twinjector blades preceded the Cartridges and were a blade with anoither narrower blade on top welded to it.

    No prep, cold water

    Cream: Palmolive
    Bowl: soup mug
    Brush: horse hair brush
Razor: Le Grelot - Hospital - Médaille d'or - No 5 - Coupe Céleste frameback, fresh off the coticule.

So it's now been one week of cold water shaves in the evening, no cuts, no redness, no irritation. The stubble only starts coming back in the afternoon, and is pretty much invisible until the next evening. I do believe it is the first time I used this razor, after buying it two years ago. I'm lending it, along with a couple of W&B and one REX - Eskilstuna, to a team member who has been using a shavette for years and didn't even think about straights until today... so a test shave was required.

Ah thanks very much. Think I could give up my razors and just have this one and a Swedish frameback and I would be happy
Unfortunately I'm having to view all of your beautiful razors on my small mobile screen coz I've got the blue screen of death on my laptop
