Thanked: 1185In my experience there are two kinds of razors. There's the finnicky ones that even if they will render a decent shave, never seem to be as crisp as I'd prefer. It doesn't seem to matter how much you fuss with them, the edge on these razors seem to never get better than just OK. Sure they'll deliver a decent shave but if you'd like to be wowed you know to reach for another razor. Then there are razors like this one that just stay amazingly sharp even without much more maintenance than a few laps on a strop. Fortunately, I have several of these in my rotation. A few laps on the strop before shaving, and a few after; take it to the stone once a year or so and the magic just happens. They really seem to get even sharper with use.
