Thanked: 116Monday, I forgot to post:
No prep, cold water
Razor: Gebr Hoppe hollow razor, fresh off coticule
Soap: Wilkinson sword black
Brush: Best badger
Morning shave, I was in a hurry, good results but I left a goatee
Thursday:
No prep, cold water
Rasor: "Celebrated Find India Steel - For Use", fresh off the coticule
Brush: Gibbs 210
Soap: Speick cream
Evening shave, no hurry, so I shaved clean. The razor felt like a dead chunk of steel until I hit the correct shaving angle, then it removed hair like it was going out of style. It also seemed to work better on longer hair. The speick lather was surprisingly good with cold water, I was expecting a runny mess but it held just fine. The artificial hair on the Gibbs is as surprising as ever... it creates a good lather against all expectations, but the hair tend to stick together once wet, it's also a pain to clean after the shave.
