Razor – Black Diamond – Vasili Thalis

An extreme hollow grind and a very fine shaver. TOBS Sandalwood has some longevity. Stay clean shaven men!

Thanked: 116Friday October 24th, morning shave
Cold water, no prep
Soap: Monsavon bol raser
Cup: Ikea PS FJÄLLBJÖRK
Razor: Celebrated Fine India Steel Razor - For Use
Aftershave: Pitralon Classic
This is my first shave with Monsavon, I experimented with more water in the mix to get more glide (close to 3/8" of cold water at the bottom of the cup) and it still lathered exceptionally well. This soap is a keeper, especially at that price point. I'm picking up a puck of "L'Occitane Cade" soap early next week, but I may keep it wrapped for a week or two to test Monsavon some more. I'll probably get a bowl of Cella and a stick of Palmolive next... I used to shave with the Palmolive stick in my teens.
I'm getting close to a month of cold water shaves and I don't think I'll go back to hot water shaves.
