Tuesday shave, in the afternoon as I'm on holiday.
Cold water, no prep
Cream: Palmolive sensitive
Bowl: Ikea PS FJÄLLBJÖRK
Brush: Chrome badger
Razor: Gillette Fatboy with Israeli personna
Aftershave: Alum block followed by Pitralon Classic
This brush was probably designed for cold water shaving. With cold water, the hair can support the weight of the handle without any problem. With hot water, the handle is too heavy and it collapses in the lather. Palmolive sensitive makes a decent enough lather with cold water. A couple of firsts with this shave: first use of Palmolive sensitive, first DE cold shave and first use of Pitralon Classic. The shave isn't as close as with a straight and I actually nicked my neck on the first pass.

What you see is what ya get.
My first solo hone job. It shaved but not like I would like.
Lucky I have a whole drawer full of razors sharpened by Glen. Gives me something to shoot for. Haha.
