Thanked: 116October 28th, evening shave, 3 passes to end the day.
Cold water, no prep.
Brush: cheap boar brush
Bowl: Ikea PS fjällbjörk
Soap: Monsavon bol à raser
Razor: Celebrated Fine India Steel Razor - For Use
Strop: Weltmeister
Aftershave: Nivea Man Sensitive Balm
While cleaning old boxes, I found an unfinished bottle of Nivea AS balm (from ~25 years ago, if I recall correctly) so I had to try it The cheap boar made an incredible lather with the Monsavon, I will try with a better boar brush next. First strop of the Celebrated since honing it, I'm honestly not sure it made any difference to the shave.

Razor – Gillette fatboy
Brush – Semouge boar
Soap – Shave Yeti – Mamacita on the Rocks
AS – ALUM & Cat-O Nine tails Bay rum
Not too impressed with the 7-O’Clocks, or maybe it was me. I got the Shaving Yeti as a door prize at the KC razor meet. The Mamacita is lemon lime scent and glycerin soap. Lather and performance is nice (Coochie coochie) . Stay clean shavin.

Thanked: 154Damn, you have to explain me where you got that, because we have a few parisian addicts that skim every flea market available, leaving mostly crap for others
Looks English made and rebranded for a french cutler... Very nice findBeautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.
