a lets see what happens shave !!
i recieved a new coticule in the mail today and after lapping it and looking at it everytime i passed it , i figured i must try this thing out ... so i grabbed a 4/8 Boker that i had just honed the other day and didnt shave test yet and dulled it up so it wouldnt even shave arm hair ( before it was popping hair with ease ).. decided to just use water and after about 5 mins it was popping hairs again
but through the entire process nothing felt right , the coti had a wavy feel to it yet smooth and for a second i even thought i was gonna have to go all the way back in my progressions and start with slurry .. hard to explain but it didnt feel right !! sssooo thats where the " let's see what happens " part comes into play !!
RAZOR(s)= Boker 4/8 Tree Brand (wtg)
Gillette Super Speed with a 7' oclock yellow
BRUSH= Silver Tip in Deer Antler
Soap= Mamma Bear " Whiskey Cream" ( very nice cushion and easy lather for my first time using this soap )
RESULT= well it must of just been me or that the new coti has a feel like none of my others but i was deceived by my thoughts that the edge was not gonna be good but man it was a smooth shave with not a tug or pull to be found .. glad i didnt go any further with it !!

Did a little honing on Christmas. Max rescaled it a few years ago but I never got around to hone it. So I brought it up to 8k then after a shave go on to a finisher. What an amazing shave at 8k. Wow. She's a LOOKER and shaves great.
