    Agreed, thanks and thanks to Oscar1953, there is something uplifting about this brush as odd as that sounds.

    LAST SHAVE OF THE YEAR

    well i needed to try some new soap and a razor i honed some chips out of the other day !!

    razors=Torrey 7/8
    2) Futur with 7 o clock yellow
    soap= Mama Bear Frankincense
    Brush= thater pure badger
    result= well a back to the hones i will go , after taking out the chips in the razor was tugging just a tad but not enough to ruin the shave but enough to know it needs some more hone work so i did a second pass with the Futur and cleaned up anything that was left !!

    Thursday

    Possibly the first SOTD post for 2015???

    Razor | Jernbolaget frameback| Soap | Proraso | After Shave | Old Spice Classic

    Very nice first shave for 2015. It’s a warmish day here (34) with 42 forecast for tomorrow, so and icy cold shave was called for with the sink filled with ice cubes floating in cold water.

    3 pass, smooth as my wife's cheek results from an antique piece of my culture.
    Still has a great edge, as honed by Phil from Classic Edge a few months back.
    Finished with some classic scent and I'm ready to face the new year and the new challenges that it brings.
    God bless, and wishing you all a great 2015!
    Cheers,
    Mike
