01-04-2015, 03:57 PM #17May this week bring you all a quiet sense of purpose for the new year!
Mappin & Webb 'Shilling Razor,' Green Mountain 'Spice,' Turkish brush, locally made shave bowl, Baume.Be.
The Day? Clearing and 0ºF / -20C. The Shave? A wonderfully close DFS in two and a touch-up. The old Mappin always surprises with its edge and ease of handling. The Green Mountain continues to satisfy and, in this weather, Baume.be is a winner for my face.

Razor – KIFA Swedish wedge
Brush – HESS vintage
Soap – Green Mountain Cheaha
AS – ALUM & Mrysol Agua Balsamica
The little KIFA was re-honed without tape. Still needs work at the heel but shaves much better. Spine wear is not an option for the little wedge profile. The HESS brush was sloppy floppy fun. Lathered the Green Mountain hard soap quite well (excess is dumped into a heated scuttle). Stay clean shaven!
