This razor is probably in the top three of my favorite razors of all time. It left my hands for a while to a friend, however I missed it terribly and had to cry like a little girl every chance I got to basically brow-beat and guilt-Trip my buddy in giving it back to me.
Its I.M.O. the time when Carl Monkhouse did his finest works. "The Ellicottville N.Y. Years" Its hollow ground is so much thinner then any other razor I ever used. It not only sings it crinkles & pops like your folding it in half like a piece of tin foil. Would scare any newb or any seasoned veteran equally.
    Too much fun!!!!!

The Day? 8ºF -13ºC, overcast. The Shave? Now this is where the day began in a very nice way. I have a soft spot in my head for Central European goods. The Lider is as good a crème as I know of. The Wapi is a one pass shaver, The Romanian TARR is a real wake me up aftershave.

Nice shave this morning. I think I'm going to start looking for a T.I. larger than 6/8 (I have a vintage 6/8)but will have to clear some razors out first. Have a good one.
