Razor | Jernbolaget | Soap | TOBS Sandlewood | After Shave | Old Spice Classic
Used the ugly duckling razor today… I could well imagine some Nordic fisherman shaving with this razor in the cabin of his small but powerful fishing boat with black, blue skies and seas. Someone should paint that scene…
As I walked down the street to work I thought “All I want to do is sit idly in the sun...”
You know what? Next time I feel like that I’m actually going to ring in sick and go and sit idly in the sun and read Keats.

Thanked: 1072Thanks fellas,
Its nice to make an appearance. I'll have to do it more often.
The wife and I split up about 5-6 months ago and I'm living on my own, with the kids coming over 2 nights a week.
I've been trying to keep busy working etc and have found that I havent been spending as much time on the internet as I used too.
I'm doing OK though, thanks for asking Carl.
Hope all my SOTD Brothers are doing well.
Cheers

George Wostenholm & Sons IXL Peerless, 11/16 Full Hollow, Round Point
George Wostenholm & Sons is just another fine Sheffield brand I have always loved. Their IXL razors are absolutely nice and very keen. Smooth and sharp, this old razor is still capable of providing a superb shave. I also like Italian almond shaving soaps and this Saponeria Artigiana has an absolutely charming smell, however being a very good soap. Aqua Velva, a classic in shaving, is an aftershave bringing very good old memories to my mind and, despite its fragrance may be considered as vintage, I love it!
- Pre-Shave: Myrsol Emulsión
- Soap: Saponeria Artigiana Almond
- Brush: Focus 103 Bristle
- Bowl: Old Barber Bowl
- Strop: Mastro Livi Loom Strop and Hand Palm
- Razor: George Wostenholm & Sons IXL Peerless, 11/16 Full Hollow, Round Point
- Post-Shave: Argan Oil
- After Shave: Aqua Velva Loción
