Kamisori Honke Nobu, 5/8
Shaving with a kamisori is always fascinating. Not only for the fact this type of razor gives a deep and close shave, but also for the fact it represents an ancient and distant culture, a different way of thinking about shaving and razor. A simple look with a classic handle, this Honke Nobu is just perfect.
- Pre-Shave: Myrsol Emulsión
- Soap: Meißner Tremonia Salty Sea Sage
- Brush: Wilkinson Bristle
- Bowl: Olda Barber Bowl
- Strop: Mastro Livi Loom Strop and Hand Palm
- Razor: Kamisori Honke Nobu, 5/8
- Post-Shave: Argan Oil
- After Shave: Floïd Mentolado Vigoroso

Noxema Cleanser
Pre-lather
TI Bison
Tony Miller Pasted Paddle Strop
Linen
Kanayama #3 Strop
Walleyeman Brass Acrylic Silvertip
MdC Soap
Thayer's Witch Hazel
Floid Mentolado Vigoroso
After three days of no stropping on the TI I took it through a pasted strop and then linen and leather stropping. The shave was very good. The blade is just borderline as compared to the blades I hone. So, I will take it to the stones but this is not a mandatory hone, only to make me feel warm and fuzzy.
If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

PS - sorry it came in sideways...He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
