    Ok, so first two shaves did not go well. Yup, a kamisori is a different beast. I am trying to learn the traditional way by just using the omote side facing towards the face. I think I am getting the hang of it now.

    I know what you mean Phrank. I tried #1 today, good performance, but I did get more earthy, woody notes from it. I paired it with Fine Fresh Vetyver AS.
    I think I too prefer #2.
    How does either compare to Tabac?
