    Thanks very much!
It's also got a nice spine (not to everyone's taste I guess, but I really like it).

PRESHAVE: Face wash with soap and warm/hot water
RAZOR: iKon OSS with Bamboo handle
    BLADE: Gillette Silver Blue (3)
    SOAP: Reef Point Soaps Sandalwood
    BOWL: VDH
    BRUSH: VDH Boar
SHAVETTE: Universal Shavette with Astra SP (new)
POST: Rinse with warm/hot water to get soap off and then some cold water rinses/splashes and pat try.

Comments: Well, since I just sent in my Wolfman heads for a mod, I was left with the iKon OSS. When I opened the desk and seen the unused Universal Shavette, I thought I might as well try it and see what happens. I put in a new Astra SP blade, lathered up the Reef Point Soap Sandalwood sample I just got in today and as things were going pretty good shaving the cheeks then suddenly a nick on the cheek by jawline. Okay no biggie so started going under the lip area XTG and bam, another nick. I said that okay, it happens. That one didnt want to stop so I grabbed the Styptic pencil and hit that nick and continued on. Did some of the other cheek, then I just got a little mad at myself for the two nicks and put the shavette away and finished my shave with the iKon OSS. I figured I must no have enough concentration at this point to keep going with the shavette so I didnt. Soap was very good and my first time ever using Reef Point. The nice slick lather provided me with great protection and feel throughout the shave and the post shave feel was also very good. No issues with the soap what so ever! The scent was not strong enough to drive nuts as I don't like strong scented soaps so I was pleased about that. The scent is stronger than others I have tried but not too strong! No irritation though so I would say it was a good DFS shave with only a couple of bad points! First point is that the iKon OSS feels too mild to me and of course the other bad point was the two nicks and my lost concentration to finish with the shavette! Maybe next time!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Of course, YMMV!

    Thx.
