Let me point out Mastro Livi "Pinin" was not a re-grind but a freshly ground razor made from brand new blanks. Mastro Livi has never sold any re-grind razor.

Testing my Shaving Soap with Different Oils

I am still testing my shaving soap in any possible condition I can. Different brushes, different water hardness and, now, different pre-shave products. While I am using the very same straight razor - the very last Mastro Livi New Grind, the last one of a long and glorious series - this time I used Floïd shave oil instead of my pre-shave oil. The soap seemed to perform excellently and seemed not to be particularly affected by this oil, although I admit my pre-shave oil seems to do a better job on this regard. Shave was impeccable as usual and, of course, thanks to this amazing and unique Mastro Livi straight razor: not just a piece of history, but also an excellent and breathtaking beautiful masterpiece.

I’m digging that M7 Manchurian Mr. Bilbo and the horn bowl and razor is beautiful Mr. Thaeris. The Mappin wedge is a double smile profile from a 7 day set. 100 laps on Hidestoart’s horse hind strop bring this silent shaver to peak performance. Cleans shave are best!.

Afternoon shave today after a morning in the woods with my twin brother. We took slingshots out today ,a chance to be kids again.
I start seven & a half weeks of radio therapy to wipe out my prostrate cancer on the 20 th.I am told that I will be feeling knackered from the
treatment.
After this the prognosis is good ,so I'm looking at it as another positive life experience.
Today's choice of kit is
New Omega synthetic Brush ,outstanding brush & so cheap.
Dovo mint shave soap
Thiers Issard evide sonnant 5/8
4711 aftershave.
Result feeling clean chilled & happy .
