Slow and steady wins the race. My mobility is improving but the splint is still in place and I'm still using a walker. By opening the knee locks I can now drive and I'm back to work. In 3-4 weeks I should be back on my feet
The older I get, the better I was

This is my first foray into Japanese Westerns. I bought 2 on eBay from a Japanese vendor for only 25 bucks a piece! They both had some rust but were in otherwise superb shape. One of them, a Kikuboshi, is getting new scales.

This is an Eagle Razor 6/8 extra full hollow. It took a beautiful, easy edge on the chosera 1k, Norton 8k, naniwa 12k progression. Just had a wonderful shave after 60 laps on the buffalo leather SRD strop.

Used my el Druida brush for the first time, what a great brush, soft but with enough backbone. For razor I used a Japanese Royal 6/8. Had a great shave.

No prep cold water face lathered shave. Love the smell of Arko in the morning.
