Just got this SR in last week and it's my first huge wedge. Did basic cleanup and left cool patina. Swore I wouldn't shave until I got a decent edge on it! Here I am mowing down 5 days growth and got a good shave with it but have a way to go on the finish to get a BBS.
I will say that I love the way a BIG razor handles around curves, bends and edges. Really glides easily around my chin which always gives me fits! Very pleased so far, now back to get a truly keen edge! At least I know I FINALLY got a good, clean bevel set!
