This razor has mellowed considerably since honing about 10 shaves ago. Dialed in and combined with the Tabac soap a blissfull and desperately needed 3 pass shave.

Clubman is legendary (and rightfully so) but IMHO English Leather is every bit as classic, every bit as timeless and just plain smells great. Probably one of the most underrated after shaves of all time.

Like the handle - I have a Mongoose in the mail right now, like the idea of the wider head, great pic, did you get the Japanese version of the Mongoose?

Excellent shave this morning. I'm off to a convention for the rest of the week. I'll be taking the S brush, Soap Commander and my Wacker inox. First impression of the S brush is very favorable. Have a good one. BTW, Soap Commander is new to me and I look forward to trying it.

Yes Andrew it's the Iwasaki Mongoose even the blades are made from Tamahagane well you really are going to enjoy the shave with this razor get yourself the Hempel Titanium handle it's twice as light as the stainless steel handle which in my opinion makes all the difference.
