Today was day 11 on the same blade and one of the best shaves yet. I did a two pass shave with some XTG cleanup and have a DFS+ with no irritation. The Florida Water barely stung. I'm pretty danged excited to be figuring this thing out. I have a question for Feather AC Users. How many shaves do you get out of a blade? I was making a mistake tossing them after one week.

Way to go! Glad to see this is working so well for you. I can typically use my Feather blades for up to a week, but for what I can pay for a blade (about $0.12 Canadian), I typically throw them out after that one week.
I think I've seen other users chronicle that they can stretch their blades' use for multiple weeks. YMMV!

Thank you. I'm doing my this out of curiosity. I'll probably stick with a week afterwards.

Default Shave of a good day.

Pre: Hot water bath, then Crown shaving Co. Pre-shave.
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip
    Razor: JR Torrey "992" 5/8"
    Soap: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet
    Post: Alum
    EDC: Floris No. 89

A very nice refreshing 2 pass shave 1 WTG, 1 XTG. I love the Blenheim Bouquet. I'm filling up the piggy bank to get the fragrance. I got a sample of the from SRD, and I'm sold on it. Nice to get to try it.

When I was using the Feather Pro blades in my Cobras, a few years ago, I used to get, typically, 10 good shaves with them.
Recently, I have been getting 10 excellent shaves with my Iridium Super DE blades.
