Default SOTD: Sicily State of Mined

    SOTD 12/18/15
    razor: Mastro Livi re-grind
Brush: Panta Rei Manchurian 28/30 Scene of a Sicilian Village
    Soap: Manna di Sicilia
    AS: Manna di Sicilia
Billy Joel wrote a song "I'm in a New York State of Mine". I woke up this morning in a "Sicily state of mine". I received my much anticipated Panta Rei Manchurian knot brush with a hand painted scene of a Sicilian Village. Wonderful, full and dense. What a delight. I have several more. The Sun, the Anchor and the Cross. Love them all. But this one is my favorite

Bonsoir Messieurs, yesterday I took the same combo to see what was wrong :

"In the streets, music begins and people start singing Christmas carols together..."

    - Phoenix "Al fin" Soap
    - Dubl Duck vintage brush, restored with synthetic knot
    - Thinet straight
    - Slant ikon DLC
    - Htgam "Al Fin" AS

    Way better ! Bon week-end Messieurs !

Default Todays shave - Friday Dec 18 2015 with my Josheph Rodgers & Sons! Awesome Shave

Here are a few pics of today's shave with my Joseph Rodgers
In the last picture you can see the etching that says, "Bers Concave Razor".
An awesome shave but I'm going to take it down and re-hone it.

If it was that awesome, why re-hone it? You prefer a less awesome shave?
