Barrister & Mann soaps, especially Will's new formulation, are outstanding performers. As far as the scent, I'm still undecided. It's somewhat like a dark Guerlain Shalimar, a scent my wife has enjoyed for 50 years, although the soap isn't a feminine scent. I expect that I'll like it after I've used it a few times, but I doubt that it will ever become one of my favorite scents. In reality, whichever top performing soaps that my wife likes the scent of are the ones that I use with any regularity.
