Fabulous Shave!
I hadn't used the Feather for over a month. Since I've been practising with real str8s my shaving technique has improve quite a lot. I was always cutting myself with the Feather. With a very light hand, you can get a really great shave with this baby. No alum, no CSF, ...perfect! I will say that I did not get the satisfaction I usually get from using a real razor. Not that the Feather isn't a real razor, but everytime I got a great shave with a NOS razor that I had something to do with preparing the edge, I got a real rush from it. - almost a HIGH! This time I got that great shave, but there wasn't that feeling of a great accomplishment. Perhaps all those feeling will pass with time (I hope not)

Thanked: 346Sat:
Rooney small style 1 brush
Penhaligon Blenheim Bouquet soap
Hand American strop
5/8 Wapienica
Harris face milk
The Wapienica was honed on the Polish translucent Arkansas stone and stropped 100 laps on paper to smooth it out. Pretty good shave; the arkansas stone will improve as it breaks in.

Thanked: 91.5 days' stubble
Matt super silvertip ivory
Lucky Tiger Shave Lotion
Vintage Clydesdale strop
Dorko Naked Lady
TI 188 Art Deco
Trumper's alum
Trumper's CSF
Testing again. This time the Dorko was nice, whew! Took me a while to get it where I like it.
The TI looks quite nice, I have been thinking about these Art Deco scales for a while. Interestingly, I did most of the work on my Swaty just for kicks and it worked very well. I still used the Y/G and Chromium after the Swaty, though. I think I'll go back to the Y/G for more and test again. It does feel stiffer than other full hollows - no complaints there.
Nice shave (albeit a morning one) and just one tiny nick, no irritation.
Cheers
Ivo
