Operation "(...) needs you repair the garage" has started and it will take a while. Anyhow, after the first encounter I feel like a skunk that's just come out of woods in hunger for a treat, so this is how I'm going to treat myself
Frederick Reynolds razor (black MOP scales in case you ask), Muhle Sophist synthetic brush, Country Club Blend No 5 soap, GFT Eucris EDT (it does smell like a skunk but I love it...I wonder why)

I'm still a total newb, but I had a great shave this morning on my fourth try. I did one full N/S pass and tried a little E/W. I decided to call it good (and safe) and finished up with a Rocket HD. I'm sort of still figuring out how to compose pictures of shaving gear, but here goes:
Hot shower prep
Cella, lathered with an Omega Boar
Odeon 6/8 stropped on a no-name horse hide strop
RazoRock Alum and Fine Fresh Vetiver to finish
