Those Hoshi Tombo razors are striking! The tang of the 8000 doesn't seem to have a finger indent, though. How do you hold it when shaving?

Very easily same as any other straight with a tail there's absolutely no difference.

    Tepid Water Splash
Czech & Speake Oxford & Cambridge Shave Soap
Simpsons Colonel X2L in 2 Band Super .. The Ehsan
    HartSteel 7/8 Polished in Pearlex
Scrupleworks Vegetable Tanned Horsehide .. 30/50
    Witch Hazel
    Comme de Garcons Wonderoud EdT

There are many opinions on the Hart razor .. I held some myself before buying one! A few things cannot be denied though, in 7/8 persuasion this is a massive piece of O1 Steel, and, it is one helluva shaver. I love my Hart, but if I had it to do again, I might do it in 6/8 ... It just tends to block my vision in some areas.
This was an all out Sunday shave, and it felt great...

Hoping to see some great shaves from the Brothers this week!
