A Little Retro...
Razor: Stahly Live Blade w/Astra SP Blade
Soap: William's in Crabtree & Evelyn Scuttle/mug
Brush: Rudy by HARRYWALLEY Custom
AS Balm: Homemade, a little of this & a little of that.
The Stahly was a recent raffle win. A decent two pass shave with the Astra. Must try a Feather next time for contrast.
It was a warm water face lathering mild shave and cold water rinse. Only draw back I can see at this time is the need to rewind the Stahly several times during the shave.

Nice, Richard! So how did it shave? Does it make your hand numb?
Geezer sez the heads on those are very good. Seems they have rollers or something?
BTW, you began a new thread. Perhaps you might get a moderator to move it to the end of today's SOTD?

Yes, they do have rollers. Moves very smoothly. Could also be the blade used but won't know that till I try it with a Feather, known to be aggressive. Yes, I had to rewind a couple of times to finish my shave. Didn't want to push it in case I over wound and broke it. The vibration is very subtle and very, very quiet. Had to hold it up to my ear to hear it. Direct opposite in noise to my electric DE.
