Default Lavender all the way down

    • Lather: Castle Forbes Lavender
    • Blade: Joseph Rodgers 11/16 full hollow
    • Brush: Turningwright oak-handled 26mm synthetic
    • After: Osma alum & Thayers Lavender Mint witch hazel
    • Scent: Agua Lavanda Puig

I've got two SRs which I've got giving great shaves (one of which is this Rodgers hollow, the other is a Bingham wedge), which means I never feel like using any of my other SRs (at least until I can get them working as well as these two).
Saw this witch hazel at Whole Foods, googled it and couldn't find any other mention of it except at one of the forums where someone else said he picked it up at Whole Foods. Great stuff though. The bottle is opaque for some reason (maybe to prevent some sort of reaction with light?).
Got the Castle Forbes working pretty well, at least for the first couple of passes. Then it was a bit less yoghourty then I would like and by the end I ran out of lather and finished up with a bit of Palmolive stick.

Excellent shaving...the Razor has been chirurgical(deep and smooth) and soap has produced an amazing lather...compact and functional for the skin.

    Soap: Saponeria Artigiana (almond)
