Was truly a joy to receive this untouched John & William Ragg, The Napoleon razor, that were sold as part of the family estate auction.

It was also very enjoyable and a great sense of accomplishment, after having been to a great meet at MikeB52's, that my honing skills seem to have finally really come together and gone up a level thanks to some fine mentorship, as I thoroughly enjoyed taking this beautiful razor to the stones from bevel set to finish, and each step announced itself as I moved through bevel set to polishing, and finally a simply superb shave with this awesome piece of history.

Forgive me, I babble therefore I am....

Gorgeous. It seems frameback or is it a "faux frameback"?

Depending on your viewpoint, as far as I'm know this is referred to as a "Rattler" grind.....

Thank you Phrank. I've never heard about "Rattler grind".

Edited: I've searched in the Forum and it's a kind of grind.
