You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

    ---Friday Test Shave---
Razor--Osborne and Garrett, one of two razors gifted to me by a neighbor friend.
    Hone--Norton 4/8 and coticule finisher.
    Strop--SRD Premium 1 and Illinois 6454.
Soap--Van Der Cream. A soap concoction of VDH and Creamo.
    Brush--VDH badger.
Aftershave--Alum, witch hazel, and a super splash of Aqua-Velva Musk.
Result--4 pass shave. I just purchased the Norton from SRD and I have to say it is a great stone to take the work load off my vintage coticule. I scribbled a bunch of profanity on it with a lead pencil and proceeded to lap it. All totaled I only removed about 1/16 of an inch from the entire stone. I set the bevel on the razor with the 4k side and then on to the 8k as per Lynn's video. Next I finished it off on the coticule and strops. The shave was effortless and super smooth that just screamed for the Aqua-Velva. You gents have a great week end. Next shave is Sunday morning. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.

Size: 56.0 KB This is a no-name German Best Silver Steel with honey horn scales I made for it, a great shaver with less than $40 invested in it. My new RazoRock soap provides a great post-shave feel with a pleasant scent.

This will be my last shave with this razor before it heads off to Rezdog, for him to drool over for a bit. I want to thank Tom again for lending this out to me. A true holy grail razor.

Beautiful, Andrew! Brings a tear, it does!

Whatever you Canadians do, just don't polish it!
I want to get some patina into the scales.

I think Andrew certainly just HAD to have polished it?
