I was lucky to score a wooden bowl of the Nomad, it really is superb stuff, and now I know the soap I'll be shaving with next.

The new MdC Vetyver and Rose looks like it may land tomorrow or Monday here.....and bliss will ensue....

Have you ever smelled myrrh? That's what the C & E Nomad smells like to me. I was just wondering if you had a similar opinion.
    Thank you!
I'm in the same boat as Mike here. Can't say (or remember) that I ever smelled Myrrh, but if that's the smell, then I like it. Funnily I got it in as a present from a fellow Dutch shaver here through the forum when I bought another cream from him. He threw in the Nomad for free stating that he couldn't get the stuff to lather. Guess he had the wrong brush for it. I like both the smell and the lather. Cheers,
    Herman

Pure soap 2 O, vintage bristle brush, knife William Hope 24 8/8, After shave Myrsol antesol, essential oils for shaving The shaving Co.
A soap - cream, simple formula, quick discharge, easy foaming, dense and creamy foam, the smell would describe it as acid, did not identify what else, the brush I like very soft is smooth with a good backbone, William Hope if he knew how to make knives , Is "visibly sharp" not suitable for beginners, true beard mowers. A very good after-shave, smooth and supple skin, the after nothing else because I can not live without it alcoholic touch, but it Gould not even be needed with this soap. Love at first shave. The oil is for grooming the beard. Excelso shaved.
