    Hot Towel Prep
    Mitchell's Wool Fat
Morris & Forndran L6 in faux Briar
    Hayashi Diamond #8000
Scrupleworks Vegetable Tanned Horsehide .. 30/50
Thayers Aloe Vera Rose Witch Hazel
    Hugo Boss EdT

I was reminded of three self-evident truths in today's shave .. First .. It's tough to out-shave an H. Diamond razor. Second, one must look long and hard to find a brush the equal of a Lee Sabini knot .. and third, I have a few soaps knocking on the door of first place, but, for the entire experience. none can replace Mitchell's Wool Fat!

Today's photo ... With a bountiful harvest season over, and Winter knocking hard on our door, I tried to show the stark contrast of the two seasons .. The fruits of the field against the harsh coldness of Winter. Whether I succeeded in conveying that feeling or not, is anyone's guess ...

    Have a great week, gents!

    ---Sunday---
    Razor--Boker Silver Steel 6/8.
    Strop--SRD Premium 1 and Illinois 6454.
Soap--Van der Cream, a soap concoction of VDH and Creamo.
    Brush--VDH badger.
Aftershave--Alum block, witch hazel, and a generous splash of Dominica Bay Rum.
Result--4 pass bbs. Today's shave was one of those where everything just seemed to go together and the Bay Rum was fitting for cold weather. You gents have a great week. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.
