Second shave with MDC Rose soap. I thought I'd prefer the new Vetyver but it was the other way round (the Vetyver is not too bad though, just v-e-r-y dry and woody)
The razor is from a northern French barber supply store that ceased trading recently - what a pleasure to hone a NOS razor (Chosera 1,2,3, Super Stone 5, 10, water-only coticule)
And finally a Westholme natural (non-oiled) kangaroo strop. The natural strop has a faster draw, the oiled ones hide the typical Roo scratches better (which you can see in the photo, thankfully checked for flatness), take your pick.

This one (nearly 10/8) comes out to play only a few times every year. Just A little to heavy for me with its 107 grams.

This was a very good 2-pass-shave, plain and simple. Very nice soap, fantastic razor, smooth and close, almost BBS (missed a small spot on my jawline).
