Razor--W.J. Donovan 6/8.
Strop--SRD Premium 1 and Illinois 6454.
Soap--SRD Lime.
Brush--VDH badger.
Aftershave--Alum block, Dickinson's witch hazel, and a generous splash of homemade bay rum with lime zest.
Pomade--Mennen Protein 29.
Mustache wax--Pinaud Clubman neutral.
Result--4 pass bbs. For you lime lovers out there I highly recommend SRD's lime soap. This stuff is lime on steroids and is a nice compliment to my lime bay rum. I smell like a fruit stand. You gents have a great week. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.

The Clover Brand straight was touched up yesterday on a coticule, and delivered a superb shave. I used the alum bloc as a check, and there was no sting whatsoever .. a testament to the finish this stone can provide. No sprays, pastes or other finishing tricks .. right off the stone .. fantastic!
The shave cream was a gift from years ago, and I wish I could find more...
