    ---Friday---
    Razor--John Doe no name 13/16.
    Strop--SRD Premium 1 and Illinois 6454.
    Soap--Conk's Amber.
    Brush--Semogue 830 boar.
Aftershave--Alum block, Dickinson's witch hazel, and a generous splash of homemade bay rum with orange extract.
Result--4 pass bbs. While shaving the TV was tuned to "Investigative Reports" on "The Justice Channel". As John Doe shaved me I was thinking that they should do an episode called "The Case Of The Murdered Lather". You gents have a great day. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.

You made it to the weekend Mike.
So did I, but this was one tough week.
Let's enjoy these few hours of quality time.

I joined that club too. But forgot to use Clubman today. Hope they dont kick me out of the club. ha. I dont give up easy! I finally am getting the hang of honing. Well, I'll say I'm getting closer to understanding. The natural stones are still not making sense to me but I'll get them down too. It just might take a while.

Default shave of the day for sensitive skin

Had to keep todays shave simple and unscented due to some worsening chemical sensitivities this week.
great budget soap by the way, the VDH unscented is a simple glycerin soap that provides a slick lather. The Razorock Plissoft synthetic is not typically a great choice on harder soaps but I chose it for the gentle feel it provides and honestly it did a fine job loading this soap sufficiently and very quickly. The razor is one of my own, made from Takefu Suminagashi which has a hitachi white steel core. First time using this material and the shave was great, looking forward to making more with this steel.
