A year ago we lost a great friend, a fine gentleman, and a soul who brought a lot of humour, wisdom, and joy to the forum.
This SOTD is dedicated to Bill "Pixelfixed" Barber, you're missed, thanks for some great book suggestions, your gruffness and humour on the forum, and you're poise and intellect in the PM's we exchanged. I can say I deeply miss seeing you on the forum....
So for today in honour of Bill's memory, I chose:
SRD Roo Strop, White Dog Scuttle, B&M Cologne Russe (sorry don't have, Cella!?!), Bill Barber Shaving Brush, Floid Blue Aftershave,
...and of course Bill's favourite, a Palmera straight razor :-)"

Razor--Wade and Butcher 5/8.
Strops--SRD Premium 1 and Illinois 6454.
Soap--Dove Men Care shower soap.
Brush--VDH badger.
Aftershave--Alum block, Dickinson's Witch Hazel, and a generous splash of homemade bay rum with orange.
Result--4 pass bbs. Great shave from an heirloom razor gifted to me many years ago by a Great-Aunt. You gents have a wonderful evening. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.
