It was incredible! the razor was pretty tuggy, so I put it on a La Viennette with a nice slurry and took it to pure water. Then I broke out my new Escher for the first time. Got a slurry going and then diluted down to pure water. No stroke counts, but I have heard its very difficult to over-hone. I just went until the feedback told me to stop (in my novice experiece).

I'm not sure at all if that is a good progression to use, but i figured I would experiment. I loved the resulting shave. So smooth! I certainly am excited to keep working with it.

Today was a first for an Escher edge myself. Very smooth, off a blue/green.

Nice! I was a little concerned because I only had a dark blue slurry stone to work with on the lightgreen stone, but it didnt' seem to have any ill effects. I definitely think it was smoother, and either keener or as keen as the JNat edges i've shaved with.

    Tuesday

    Jeness Dragon Slayer razor
    Unknown Asagi touch-up
    Torolf strop
    CADE cream
    Badger brush
    Nivea cream
    Turkish Verbena EdT

This razor eventually didn't sell. After four months still no payment, so I cancelled the deal, took it to the Asagi and a two pass blissful shave ensued. It'll go back in to the rotation for a while.
