Razor--Jacob Wiss 5/8.
Strops--SRD Premium 1, Illinois 6454, and Russian horsehide.
Soap--Baume be.
Brush--Restored EverReady badger.
Aftershave--Alum block, Dickinson's witch hazel, and a generous splash of Old Scheiss.
Result--4 pass bbs. Tonight I tried a three strop progression on the Wiss. 25 on SRD premium fabric, 25 on Illinois leaded linen, 50 on SRD Premium 1 leather, 50 on Russian horsehide, and 50 on the Illinois. VERY comfortable and smooth shave that should last until Sunday morning. You gents have a great evening. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.
