Sunday, save a shave.
Benz, one of our fine members had a problem. One of his scales had broke at the pivot, and he asked me how it could be fixed.
I replied back, sure do..!
Just send me the whole thing and I'll make a new set for it.
Patterned from the original scales, they were cut from black N White ebony, shaped and sanded by hand to 3000 grt. , hand polished and sealed with orange oil and bee's wax.
Benz asked me if I would post it in a SOTD so all would know what it looks like, when he posts it in his SOTD.
So here it is with new shoes, and a fresh edge.
Razor: Isaac Diller & Son. German made blade, distributed from his hardware store in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Strop: Unknown Russian Tanned.
Brush by Benz.
Soap: Fine, fresh Vetiver.
AS: Fine, fresh Vetiver.

Classic! Mr Benz, you're the man.
I've never heard the term "pooped pullet".
Out of curiosity is that a Hen that's run out of eggs? So in human terms a 40'ish plus lady?
It's the hot-rodded blondes with double divorce pipes you need to be wary of ;-)

Thanked: 7RR400 worked the ADP cream into an acceptable lather to take off two days stubble with a Puma kept keen with 2 laps every day on a 0.25 micron diamond strop. Russian leather to finish.
This particular ADP cream (silver lid) is curious stuff. It does not make the thickest or most stable lather in the world, yet it lubricates, smells, and helps with a straight shave exceptionally well.
