    SOTD~An Extrordinary Shave

    Prep: Hot Water
Brush: Homemade w/Maggard 24mm 2 band badger knot
    Soap: Krokos
    Razor: Novelty Cutlery, Canton, OH~7/8"
Strop: Mastro Livi large loom plus Neil Miller Horween Shell
    After Shave: Floid
Cologne: Czech & Speake Spanish Cedar

The shave was unbelievable. This razor cut through my beard like it was whipped cream! Very impressive. I also re-knotted two brushes I made 2-3 years ago with Maggard's knots which seem to be pretty dense, a lot better than the shedding knots that were in them......
I don't know why the end of the brush looks oval, it is round. Shaun brought it to my attention but I knew it. For those who might wonder the same, I think it's the angle the pic was taken.

Thanks Bob. When I saw it, I thought to myself, that looks like a big blade & I won it. It is wicked sharp!
