Razor--Isaac Diller.
Strops--SRD Premium 1 and Illinois 6454.
Soap--VDH luxury.
Brush--VDH badger.
Aftershave--Alum block, Dickinson's witch hazel, and a generous splash of Fine Snakebite.
Result--4 pass bbs. Today's shave was supposed to happen yesterday on my birthday. After much celebrating, I was in no condition to shave, so here it is. You gents have a great evening. Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.

Brush: Razorock Big Bruce
Soap: Fine "Merican" Soap is growing on me. Got my lathering technique adjusted with this soap. Solid performance. Didn't wow me but pretty good.
Razor: Nobiru Nicon One of my true gems.
AS: CHH Tobacco. I am finding that I enjoy a lot of the old school drug store type aftershaves. This one was not easy to obtain here in the U.S.A. But thanks to a member here I am able to "spoil" myself occasionally with this German working mans AS.

A razor that was a gift from a good friend and senior member-Ace.
The razor itself was forged in the legendary fires of Sheffield and labeled For Barbers Use Only. It was honed by myself on rocks that were extracted from the Ouachita mountains by the men of old-Washita and Arkansas stones.
The shave was remarkable! Effortless and shockingly effective. No hair left behind! No hair left behind!
The lather was none other than the famous (infamous?) Tabac with a Semogue Owners Club boar brush. If you can’t get a good shave with this one, it is not the soaps fault!
