    Hot Towel Prep
Wickhams 1912 Shave Soap .. Irish Fern
Wild West/ Elite Shaving Two Band Manchurian
    W.H. Morley & Sons Clover Brand 5/8
Scrupleworks Veggie Tanned Horsehide .. 60/60
Bloc Osma .. as a proof
Thayer's Witch Hazel .. Rose Petal
Hermes Concentré d Orange Verte EdT

A very special shave today on more than one front ..

First, the maiden voyage of Wickham's 1912 Irish Fern in the Bideford Pottery bowl with the 1912 logo on the lid... Absolutely superb lather, scent and presentation!
Second, the Clover Brand razor saw 200 extra light laps on my recently acquired Charnley Forest with Smith's Honing Solution.. it is wicked sharp...

    A stunning shave all 'round!

A Couple of Torreys I tried out after a stropping progression just experimenting. I got a nice slick lavender lather from the MDC sample TC sent me, whipped up with the brass badger brush my son designed and turned for me-nice and smooth!

I bought this Frederick Reynolds on my birthday this year. Back in February and this was the four time I've used it. Its a KARL Special. Restored by the man and sold to me. With the use of my new scuttle, my new to me brush I got from the Movember auction and some B&M shave soap I had a wonderfully comfortable shave. It went so well I broke out the Alum. I don't use the stuff unless I've had a great shave to really put it to the test. Even after the Alum all was calm. With a splash of Vanilla Pinaud I'm now ready for bed.

You can tell its a Karl razor. Look at that mirror finish!
